Why Use A Tent?

Tents make amazing things happen. Diamond Event routinely installs tents for a wide variety of uses; everything from a residential party to a movie production, from a large tent structure at a tradeshow to an elegant wedding in a mountain venue. All these parties, weddings, corporate events, and even temporary warehouses are made possible by tenting.

What Can Diamond Event & Tent Do for You?

Our Events Pages outline the Corporate Events, Fairs and Festivals, Weddings, Private Parties and Large Events that we routinely install. But it is important to remember that the true customer service we offer always begins long before the event. Our experienced professionals know what is possible at your venue, how to best approach the project and, most importantly, how to get it done when the deadlines approach. This focus on helping you realize your vision truly sets Diamond Event apart.

Why Experience Matters?

There is a lot at stake, literally, in a tent installation. There will be people and property under the tent and nearby. It needs to be done right, in compliance with regulations and industry best practices. Each tent is a small construction project that takes into consideration the customer's needs and the realities of the site - and this requires knowledge that only comes from experience. Diamond Event's four-decade history of installing tents in the Mountain West is a key part of our company's success. Our dedicated team focuses on the details so you can focus on the event.

What Kinds of Tents Can Be Used At Your Event?

There are several different kinds of tents that we can install. Depending on customer needs, the circumstances of the installation, and local regulations, Diamond Event can work with you to determine what best fits your needs. Here is a quick summary of the tents we can install for you.

Frame Canopies and Festival Top Canopies

The types of tents available include frame canopies, a framework of aluminum pipes with a vinyl fabric covering. These canopies are built in 10' increments of length and width. The tops can be either traditional tops, with a minimalist aesthetic, or festival tops with a curved shape, typically topped by a small flag.

Some frame canopies are built modularly, so you can have clear roof panels or solid panels, and easily add sections. Some of these tents can include a snow kit which allows them to be used in winter conditions.

Tenting solutions also include tension tents that are held in place by stakes and supported by tent poles. These tents are frequently used for shorter duration events. They are not as resilient to winds and weather. They come in widths up to 100', and lengths can be extended through tops that are laced together. Twin pole tents are an iconic look that is often used for weddings.

Large Clear-span Tent and Small Clear-span Tent

Large and Small Clear-span Structures

Clear-span structures come in a wide variety of sizes. They are typically sized in metric increments, with 3-12 meter sizes being the smaller options and 15-50 meter being the larger options. These structures are entirely modular and are often best suited for longer-term rentals and installations on top of engineered flooring systems.

When Should I Start Planning?

Tent installations require advanced planning. Our crews are often scheduled months in advance, and the availability of equipment and transportation is often limited. Our team is very experienced in dealing with all the issues that can arise, but we can't change the rules regarding permitting requirements, Blue Stakes, etc. Contact us online or call our service team early in the planning process so we can help you think through the issues and handle any unforeseen complications that may arise.

Standard Tents
Standard tents or Quik Tents are a more budget-friendly option for any type of event. They are a frame tent, but offer slightly less stability than Keder framed tents. They are versatile, allowing for you to choose between walls or no walls.

Show Tents
Show tents are often used at fairs and festivals. They typically feature a single peak held up by a center pole, but this pole does not extend to the ground. This allows the space underneath the tent to be fully utilized.
